Brave Newbies founder Matias Otero traces the character history of Toasty Biggums, who was a leader of Brave’s coup and is now attempting to blackmail Pandemic Legion.

Welp, there goes the theory that the Brave coup was entirely due to personality defects in the leadership team.

Still, a bit more planning on the part of the instigators would not have gone astray.

Crisis over

Seems that BRAVE has resolved it’s leadership spill by initiating a counter spill to restore the old executor corporation.

I guess that’s evidence that an external alliance wasn’t responsible for the destabilisation, since you’d expect them to retain control and keep leeching members away.

Of course, there remains the possibility that there was someone pulling the strings, who decided to stop in order to keep BRAVE going rather than exsanguinate them (or was stopped by a rival spy ring), but that kind of thinking will just send you mad so let’s leave that alone.

Faith inhumanity

I would be disappointed if none of the people responsible for the collapse of Brave Newbies were CFC spies or agents provocateur.

Bitterly disappointed.

(Market) Stocking Stuffer

I have been toying with being actually useful to my alliance by stocking the local station with stuff. So far I have about 50 items up there, with a view towards boosting that considerably over the coming weeks. I’m not alone in thinking this, so perhaps we can split the effort required.

In other news, the Proteus release is due in mid-January, so I guess it’s time to work out which of the rebalanced recon ships will actually be useful now.

Defining the narrative

So, Delve is under attack. Maybe it’s for good fights ™, maybe it’s serious. Considering that the current owners, TEST, gained sovereignty precisely by invading for good fights and finding no opposition, they’re understandably worried, despite the assurances by the attackers (if you can’t trust the people invading you, then who can you trust?)

Still, there’s always time to whip up some propaganda about the situation.

C0nvicted under new 3-Strikes Law

After the recent fall from grace of C0nvicted, and the departure of many players, the three core corporations (The New Era, Psykotic Meat and Violent Alternatives) are going into various levels of hibernation. Wusti has stepped down from alliance CEO, and active members have formed Three Strikes [GA0L] and joined Nulli Secunda to bolster their AU time zone presence.

It’s sad to see one of the major AU TZ alliances falter, but hopefully they’ll be back better than ever after this restructure.
