Crisis over

Seems that BRAVE has resolved it’s leadership spill by initiating a counter spill to restore the old executor corporation.

I guess that’s evidence that an external alliance wasn’t responsible for the destabilisation, since you’d expect them to retain control and keep leeching members away.

Of course, there remains the possibility that there was someone pulling the strings, who decided to stop in order to keep BRAVE going rather than exsanguinate them (or was stopped by a rival spy ring), but that kind of thinking will just send you mad so let’s leave that alone.

It’s all still pretty murky but we think that yes, CFC agents were involved, certainly Anna and Toasty, and that a lot of well-meaning but concerned leaders and CEOs were duped by them into supporting the coup a week ago.

Astonishingly they didn’t proceed to create 50 1 man alt corps to lock down the leadership vote so when aDAMNPATRIOT, leader of one of the corps in Brave and a Lychton loyalists started sounding out corp ceos about changing their vote back he got enough to switch the alliance back to Lychton who immediately kicked Nerd Panic and a bunch of other alt corps used to facilitate the original takeover.

    It’s not crisis over.

Lychton needed a bit of a kick in the bum. On top of that traitors were making things bad and blaming them on him so that his rule would collapse – some of our recent woes seem deliberately engineered. We have to fix things and move forward but that’s going to be really hard.

Basically the quandary is that to get stuff done you need to delegate to competent people and let them run with it but when you’re infiltrated by hostile agents looking to do damage you have to keep tight control of everything. Lychton probably kept things too tight even before the coup, I honestly dont envy him trying to right the ship.

On top of that a lot of our useful people have left or been kicked and other people are scared to step up and do anything in case we get witchhunted.

It is quite an amazing game.
