So, we got wardecced a couple days ago. Presumably someone heard about our recent ‘mistakes were made‘ episode and thought they’d get in on the action. So, we sent the three players who actually fly in highsec over to their stomping grounds to see what up wit dat.

So far we’re running at 100% efficiency and several pages of amusing chat logs, which I won’t share because it would be condescending to reveal them.

I will give the attackers points for undocking and having a go, though.

Corp theft, Dust style

Cue the drama as my Dust corp is robbed of 200M isk and most of the corp kicked. Luckily one of the other directors logged in and kicked him and his alts.

The Southern Legion was formed as an amalgamation of three AU TZ Dust corps for the closed beta tournament. As part of the agreement, each CEO of the three corps became a director, otherwise he likely wouldn’t have been given that role considering his instability.

Oh well, no lasting harm done. The corp members are reapplying and the isk is being rebuilt. It’s cliched, but the corp will continue, stronger than ever.

Fix for Factory Manager role?

CCP Masterplan is investigating the feasibility of fixing this long-standing issue:

For all you players asking about the roles for cancelling jobs (and this applies to regular station jobs also) I’m going to have a look and see if there is something we can do about it. Take this with a hefty slice of Expectation Management Pie, but one simple possibility I’m thinking of is restricting the ability to cancel corp jobs to director roles only. With just the Factory-Manager role, you’d still be able to cancel your own corp jobs, but not those corp jobs belonging to your corpmates.

What do you think about this idea? Be aware this is a very specific, focused fix to an problem that has come up a few times. Please don’t feature-creep on me, or there’s simply no scope for it happening!

Note that completing other people’s jobs would still be allowed.

C0nvicted under new 3-Strikes Law

After the recent fall from grace of C0nvicted, and the departure of many players, the three core corporations (The New Era, Psykotic Meat and Violent Alternatives) are going into various levels of hibernation. Wusti has stepped down from alliance CEO, and active members have formed Three Strikes [GA0L] and joined Nulli Secunda to bolster their AU time zone presence.

It’s sad to see one of the major AU TZ alliances falter, but hopefully they’ll be back better than ever after this restructure.
